TURNAROUND TIME FOR LONGARM QUILTING AND SEWING MACHINES IS 2-3 WEEKS
Sewing Machine Service & Repair
I provide sewing machine service and repair on most makes and models. My goal is to provide a simple and transparent experience with sewing machine service and repair. As an avid sewist myself, I understand that a sewing machine is more than just a machine, but is an extension of our livelihood and creativity. I have completed training at Sew & Quilt in Temple, TX and through the Sew Doc Academy online. I am always learning and make continuing education a priority.

Service
Regular service is the best way to keep your machine from needing repair! Most machines should be serviced annually. Let me give your machine a tune up to keep it in good shape. A service includes a removal of covers, deep clean, oil, grease as well as an inspection of motor, belts and feed system. I check the timing, tensions and do a sew test when complete.
Computerized Machine $100
Diagnostic Bench Fee
I am happy to offer diagnosis of the machine so you can decide what repairs to do. There is a minimum charge for diagnostics to cover my time whether you choose to move forward with the repairs or not. If you do move forward with repairs or a service, that applies to the final bill.
Bench fee due at time of machine drop off $50
Machine Repair
Should your machine need further repair, I always call to authorize the anticipated service time and ordering of any parts, and offer an estimated timeline. We are at the mercy of our suppliers for parts and that can vary widely unfortunately. I work as fast as possible and make my best effort to get your machine back in working order as quickly as possible. I do collect the $50 bench fee at drop off, which will roll into your final bill that must be paid in full at time of pick up.
- Hourly repair rate $80 per hour
- Minimum charge $50
*I do not offer warranty work*
